Casa Verde
This home was built by the late Secretary of the Interior Stuart Udall. It is located on 4 acres in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The views from the portal are breathtaking. All of Santa Fe can be seen as well as the Jemez Mountains. The living room has 15’ ceilings with curved plaster between the Vigas. The kitchen has a long island and a sitting area as well as a breakfast corner that seats six. The rock wall in the kitchen includes pieces of petrified wood from New Mexico. The hallway to the master bedroom is open on both sides with windows to the front courtyard and openings into the kitchen and the windows to the grounds beyond.
