Dragonfly

It was a challenge to capture this dragon fly in thread.  It was critical to capture the translucence of the wings. There are 52 different threads used in this small piece of art. The wings themselves contain 31 different colors. The key to creating art like this is patience and concentration. Adding just 10 stitches in a small area is the key to success.
