Resting Ballerinas

This art is photo transfer and encaustic wax.  This art is painted in encaustic wax.  The wax is heated to 210 degrees.  Once the wax is melted, the different colors can be mixed like oil or acrylic and applied to the art with a brush.  Once cool, the art has a luminescent quality. I love the way the wax moved in the skirt when heated.
