Mondrian Flower

This piece of Fiber Art is sectioned to create a Mondrian like piece of art. The macro image of the Dahlia has an almost Georgia O’Keefe like appearance. The sections are mounted on board and installed in a shadow box giving the appearance of floating. I used metallic threads in the brightest yellow areas to give an appearance of reflection.
