WONDER BUTTERFLY

Capturing a butterfly on a flower sipping nectar is a difficult task. This butterfly is resting on a flower and gathering. It is difficult to blend the threads to create the slightly out of focus flower. I used Metallic threads in the butterfly wings and rayon threads on the wings and the flower. The glow is reflected in the matte that is covered in a glass bead medium.
