Garden Wonder

Garden Wonder is a quilt of a child’s hands, dirty from playing in the garden, carefully holding a butterfly. What a joy to have the butterfly alight on a hand. This is true joy!

The quilt is based on a photograph printed on fabric. The quilt is covered in 47 different colors of thread. The hands and the butterfly are 100% thread painted and the background is free motion embroidery.
