Donald in Light

I took his photo as he sat in an old barn in New Mexico. At age 90, I believe that he is satisfied with his life and that his future holds promise. I covered his face and beard in 85 different colors of thread blended seamlessly to reflect his countenance. The background of the art is free motion quilting.

Donald is truly tranquil as he watches the sun set over the mountains of New Mexico.
